Founded in 2001 by John Berg, Berg Design Architects is a multi-faceted design firm whose work includes furniture design, architectural design competitions, residential architecture, interior design, planning, and multi-unit residential housing. A strong firm history of close working relationships with clients and focused design, combined with an acute understanding of place, continues to lead us to unique architectural solutions.

As we approach varied project types, building technologies, and sites, Berg Design’s approach to design remains constant. Our process begins as a collaboration between us, the client, and the unique spatial and programmatic demands of each project. The desire to respond to each design problem with a distinct solution is at the core of our work. We not only pride ourselves on our persistent attention to detail and our extensive knowledge of building materials, construction practices, and sustainable design, but also on our sensitivity to each client’s particular needs.
