This Carbon 451 Lighting ideas is the latest project of Marcus Tremonto, an american artist and designer that was originally showed at Firenze during Super Design exhibition. Patrick Brillet, an art gallery owner has asked the designer to create a lamp out of carbon fiber. The designer decided to celebrate and utilize the best of the materials true physical properties, its strength and lightness. The complexity of curves and required thinness could not be duplicated in any other material while still maintaining its ability to support itself completely.
