Located at the valley Órbigo, Benavente, Zamora, Spain, the project is developed using three objectives; in relation to the site, responding to the program and developing the perception of space. The levels mix and converse and crosses the project is emerging. In its relationship with the place where it is introduced, the design is outlined premises as the least possible impact on the natural environment and thus intervene in a semi-natural from passive sustainability criteria which hopefully will be efficient and active with their environment, with a cultural program and application materials whose aging process allows the dialogue with the changes in tone, color and light environment, all without sacrificing the performance of an abstract. A change understood as violence that occurs in living organisms as they grow, travel and live.
The architect, José Juan Barba, wrapped on the building to create an abstraction of the environment. The whole project aims to make it clear consistently the most symbolic of the program. The output of the route is across the hall open, device between panes, only time you lose the direct view of the courts even if their presence is still present. The double wall glass roof attempted to leave the visitor the feeling of a journey across the river inland. His departure, like his arrival, recurs across a footbridge over a small garden of native plants. José Juan Barba has more description on this house.
