Each piece of furniture is handcrafted by a small team of skilled craftmen under the close artistic direction of Benjamin Rollins Caldwell. It’s located in Spartanburg, SC. These furnitures displayed in the ICFF booth during the recent international fair.
One of the premier items was the plywood Cherner-Armchair that was designed way back in 1958 and became the mid-century icon. Subsequently the chair went out of production but was revived by Benjamin and Thomas in 1999. Reintroducing the designs the company now continues to produce the chairs that was originally produced in 1958.
People that wish to have something out of the traditional with some unique characteristics will love the BRC Designs and anything made using such designs. Many of them revive the classic designs that have gone out of market long since but such revival is not without the artistic touch of contemporary.
